First of all the service was incredible. Dany was our server and he was extremely attentive and friendly. He was also very helpful in picking out food. The food came very quickly which was a big plus. Everything we ordered was fantastic, but I specifically loved the banana pie (I think it was pie), the baby corn, and the fish taquitos.

Completely recommended!!! After checking the reviews (positive and negative), we decided to take the risk. All comments about the food were excellent and the complaints were from some time ago and focused on the service. Why not give it a chance? Well, totally worth it!! We absolutely loved the place. It’s ambience is modern, inviting, friendly. The good was unbelievable, the ingredients are so fresh and well transformed into beautiful, tasty dishes. The service is absolutely wonderful, exactly what you would expect from a place like this. Our servers, Dani and Gustavo (we had two for 5 people) went above and beyond to make our dinner a fantastic experience. There was a group of acrobats performing a super cool show and a magician that entertained us with a fun display of acts.

IVAN IS THE BEST. This was by far one of the best meals of my life. Food, atmosphere, and service were all 20/5 stars. If I could give more stars in each of those categories, I would. We started with the short rib gyoza and the 10 piece sashimi. The short rib gyoza was complimented beautifully by the mustard sauce and the sashimi was so fresh and THICK, served with a tiny dab of appropriate sauces. I has the king ora salmon, A5 way beef, and toro (fatty tuna) nigiri, while my husband had the unagi temaki. All very fresh, made with precision, and displayed beautifully. I a suggested another waygu nigiri roll to me and it was nearly one of the single best bites I’ve ever eaten. I made my husband order a second one. We also got the waygu ramen and it was so rich and decadent, like a ramen Alfredo with delicate Japanese mushrooms. We had a sake flight (sweet and creamy, mild, and umami) and loved how wildly different each were. We had the rainbow cake, which has an amazing cream cheese frosting, served with strawberry I’ve cream in a fried tortilla shell that knocked my socks off. I ordered the mango and tres leche ice cream pie and cried tears of joy. Ivan suggested an espresso after dinner cocktail that we jumped on and are so glad we did. It came served with a Rice Krispie treat on a skewer, torched at the table, served over an espresso ice globe. If I had a last meal on the planet, it would be here. I’m not even being dramatic and haven’t even mentioned how beautiful the restaurant itself is. Do yourself a favor and request Ivan and go to Ryoshi.

A wonderful experience! Our server Dany was amazing, friendly and very hospitable. They took care of our whole family and made the little ones feel very welcomed. The dancing and aerobatic entertainment was very interesting and kept us entertained. The food was spectacular, every dish was delicious and fresh. The drinks were remarkable as well. Can't wait to come back!

Excellent food and even better service. We got to experience some of the best food I have ever had while watching the sun set. Alex and Gustavo tended to every need and request diligently and quickly. We both tried the wagyu truffle roll and it gave me whole body chills without exaggeration. We also had the Nevada and Tiger roll and both were amazing in their own special ways. This restaurant was the perfect end to our trip in Cancun and would absolutely recommend to anyone coming to the area.

My wife and I went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We couldn’t have picked a better place. From the moment we walked into, the beautiful decor and atmosphere transported us to another world. The service was impeccable. From the manager (Dulce) and our waitstaff (Alberto and Gustavo) we felt well looked after. The hourly acrobatic and dance entertainment was enjoyable too. The food was unique and excellent. The asparagus ribeye rolls with tamarind sauce is a must. All of the sushi we had was fresh and well constructed and flavorful. The saki menu offers a great variety and the saki flight was reasonably priced. Needless to say, we will return next time we are in Cancun.
